LWML President Linda Reiser led the
banner procession Friday morning.

District presidents and Young Woman Representatives carrying their district banners followed President Linda in the procession.

The South Dakota  Air National Guard presented the colors.

"Waves" of joy broke out around the arena
during a brief sound system outage.

South Dakota District LWML President Dianne Diekmann
brought greetings from the host district.

Rev. Dale Sattgast, president of the South Dakota District-LCMS, welcomed convention attendees to South Dakota.

The Mayor of Sioux Falls, David Munson,
invited the attendees to enjoy his city.

Dr. Mary Manz Simon leading the Bible study, "Rock On".

Mary invited the women to reflect on the study.

She used a visual presentation customized for the LWML.

 Mary asked the convention to "double listen".to see both implications and applications in our society today.

She asked the attendees to
recognize changeless truths of the Bible.

The singing was a favorite time for everyone.

 Rev. Khurram and Cynthia Khan from the People of the Book Lutheran Outreach (POBLO)
presented the story of their ministry to Muslims.

An Afghanistan woman baptized 6 years ago and
now 32 members of her family have been baptized.

 Pacific Southwest introduced us to Angels in Heaven.

The Executive Committee presented a surprise grand finale that "brought down the house". 

.....And, the winner is the Rocky Mountain
District with Rockin' Movin' Dancin' to LWML.

Closing a joyous celebration.....

And the day closed in the joy and blessings of the Lord.
