Final LWML District Convention for 2016

LWML Florida-Georgia District

LWML Florida-Georgia District President Bunnie Koelsch presided over her final convention in West Palm Beach, Florida, September 30–October 2, 2016. The theme, "Standing Firm in Our Faith," focused 282 attendees, including 12 Young Woman Representatives, during worship, prayer, Bible study, and activities. Delegates elected Patricia “Trish” Aamoth as the new District President and selected 12 new mission grants. In her keynote address Past LWML President Jan Wendorf (2007–2011) highlighted LWML’s history of walking into unchartered territory. LWML’s beginning in 1942, supporters standing firm in their faith, becoming a mission-minded organization, and being engaged in the Word are factors which will allow LWML to celebrate its 75th anniversary next year.
