NEW EDITOR AND CHIEF SELECTED!
Nancy Graf Peters from the Atlantic District was selected by the Executive Committee to be the new editor of the Quarterly. She brings with her a varied background in the LWML. She has served in many positions including Atlantic District President 1998-2002, Structure Committee Chairman 2001-2003, Nominating Committee 2005, and is currently an MMV Consultant. In addition to her many skills, she brings with her a passion for the LWML and its mission emphasis.

PRESIDENT LINDA
President Linda Reiser will be a participant in a plenary session at the LC-MS Model Theological Conference focusing on the theme, "The Congregation's Ministry and Mission: Who's in Charge Here?" The conference will be held in Phoenix August 23-25. Recently President Linda also recently represented LWML at Women of the ELCA Convention and the Lutheran Laymen's League Convention in Topeka, Kansas.

LWML CONVENTION ATTENDEES
All convention attendees will be receiving their DVD from the convention along with the handkerchief Pastor Barry J. Keurulainen ordered. These will be shipped out the beginning of September

LWML SUNDAY
LWML Sunday is fast approaching. Be sure to order your materials soon to make sure you are able to receive everything you order. "Lives Transformed Through Christ-In TimeFor Eternity!" is written by LC-MS President, Rev. Dr. Gerald R. Kieschnick. Don't miss the opportunity to share LWML with the members of your congregation. PRAY TOGETHER MONDAY AT NOON
Join your fellow LWML members each Monday at noon to pray for mission grant recipients, missionaries, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and its leaders.

NEW MMV TRAINING ANNOUNCED
New training will take place for Mission Ministry Vision Consultants March 8-12, 2006 in St Louis. Anyone interested in becoming a consultant should contact her District President.

THE LUTHERAN WOMEN'S MISSIONARY LEAGUE

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of over 250,000, is the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world.
