Being With Jesus — Living on the Edge
LWML Sunday 2011

The first Sunday in October is traditionally set aside for the celebration of LWML Sunday. Order materials have been sent to each LCMS congregation to assist with the worship for LWML Sunday.

Rev. Ken Klaus, Speaker Emeritus of the Lutheran HourĀ®, is the author of the LWML Sunday 2011 packet materials, based on the theme Being with Jesus — Living on the Edge. He served as a parish pastor for 28 years in South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, and Texas. For his work among the Lakota Indians of South Dakota, he was given a Sioux name by the granddaughter of Chief Red Cloud. Dr. Klaus served as Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) International Pastoral Advisor and became The Lutheran HourĀ® Speaker in 2002. Published works include "Stories from The Lutheran Hour — A Changeless Christ in a Changing World", two prayer books for military personnel and their families, and daily devotions for LHM.

To ensure availability and delivery, all LWML Sunday orders should be ordered before September 1, 2011.
