Under "Newsletter Options" click on "Mission & Outreach"

Click on "Lutheran Women in Mission"-check either the full text or summary box

"Mission-a-Month"-something special for you from the Mission Advocacy and Grants Committee You can see what God is doing with your mites and your prayers by visiting the Mission Advocacy and Grants committee Web pages. Each month a different mission grant is featured, including an update with pictures, a calendar for collecting your mites and a devotion for dedicating your mites. This is a wonderful resource for your societies and churches. Share them at your conventions, rallies and retreats. To find this new help at www.lwml.org, go to "pull down" on the home page. There you'll find the Mission Advocacy and Grants Committee pages.

2005 Prayer Service

The 2005 LWML Prayer Service, formerly printed in the winter issue of the Quarterly, will be available as a downloadable resource through the LWML Web site beginning December 1, 2004.

Rev. Dr. David Bernthal, LWML Counselor 1999-2003, authored this service entitled "God's Salty Christians" to provide our membership an opportunity to reaffirm God's "tasty" presence in our lives, now and forever! Through short vignettes, hymns and prayers worshippers will be reminded of their status as God's children: forgiven, restored to God's eternal family and sent forth as our Lord's ambassadors to illumine the Way.
