Lutheran Woman's Quarterly Spring 2004

Created to be . . .

You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb ...
Your workmanship is marvelous ...
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Psalm 139:13-16

Who are we created to be? Reflections on that question are woven throughout the pages of this issue of LWQ.

One conclusion is sure. Our diversity glorifies the Creator.

That wonderful diversity is expressed in God's gift of language. Beginning with this issue, in keeping with the LWML mission statement to address the needs of all LCMS women, we will include a section of the Quarterly in Spanish. We hope our Spanish-speaking sisters will be encouraged as we participate together in reaching the goals of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Be sure to point out the section in Spanish to your Spanish-speaking friends. Share the Quarterly in ever-widening circles!
