Lutheran Women in Mission is seeking nominations for the following offices: Vice President of Christian Life, Vice President of Communication, Vice President of Gospel Outreach, Recording Secretary and Nominating Committee members. Contact your LWML district president for nomination forms.

Heart to Heart Sisters

Red and yellow, black and white, we are precious in His sight! The words of that simple children's song could be the theme for this new LWML task force. Designed to be an intentional, ongoing mentoring program, Heart to Heart Sisters is an outreach to ethnic women for leadership training and to encourage them to be advocates for the LWML among LCMS women.

In addition, LWML society applications will be produced in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese and Hmong to make it easier for women's groups in ethnic congregations to join the organization. The Lutheran Woman's Quarterly will include a Spanish page (see page 12 of this issue), and LWML will be sponsoring a Heart to Heart Sisters Gathering and encouraging our ethnic sisters to attend.
