Those who enjoy sewing and
crafting were busy creating colorful pieced quilts, small banners
and decorated crosses. Some will be given to residents of Bethesda
Lutheran Home, Watertown, WI and others to Lutheran World Relief
and other agencies that serve the needy.
Women compiled
Christian materials to be used overseas.
Flowers, butterflies,
lady bugs, birds and ivy adorned bird houses built from kits
and painted by Lutheran Women in Mission. Thirty-five bird houses
were prepared and will be given to owners of new Habitat for
Humanity homes.
