Let There Be Light

"Let There Be Light!" is the theme of the 2006 LWML prayer service.

Author Rev. Larry Krueger, Assistant to LCMS President Kieschnick and Texas District LWML Counselor 1996-2000, based this service on the three articles of the Nicene Creed. Through responsive readings, hymns, prayers and spiritual reflections worshippers will focus on Jesus Christ, the Light of the world.

The prayer service will be available as a downloadable resource from the LWML Web site. To access it go to www.lwml.org and click on "2006 Prayer Service" to download the PDF file or HTML file.

By offering the prayer service in this manner, we hope a wider audience will have access to it and will use it at a pre-Lent LWML event, spring prayer service or at any time of the year. If you are unable to access the Web site, call the LWML office at 800-252-LWML (5965) for a copy.
