Introducing Nancy Graf Peters

Nancy Graf Peters photoThe Lutheran Women's Missionary League welcomes the new Editor-in-Chief of the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly, Nancy Graf Peters. Nancy, from Poughkeepsie, New York, most recently served on the LWML Nominating Committee and the Structure Committee. She is a past LWML Atlantic District President.

At home in Poughkeepsie, Nancy is Adult Education Instructor for Bilingual High School Equivalency classes and English as a Second Language program for Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Education Services. She has also taught in Lutheran elementary schools, public middle school and in a job training agency for disadvantaged adults.

Nancy has served on several mission trips to Central America as a Spanish translator. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlantic District, LCMS, as well as other boards and committees.

In her home church, Our Savior Lutheran Church, Fishkill, New York, Nancy teaches fifth graders in Sunday School, is a lay reader, Worship Committee co-chair and Future Directions committee member.
