Let's Pray ... Gracious Lord, You've poured out so many beautiful blessings into our lives, yet sometimes we're so busy we don't notice those gifts and we don't see You, the Creator of all. Gently call us to repentance when our priorities become tangled and we forget to trust You. Forgive us when we move so fast that we forget to focus on the most precious gift of all, Your Son, Jesus Christ. As our days rush by with meetings, dirty dishes, and crying children, feed our weary souls through Word and Sacrament. Renew us with Your richest blessings so that we might be a blessing to weary friends and loved ones. For Your everlasting love and mercy, we thank and praise you. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Dear Heavenly Father, We praise You because You are our awesome Creator! We confess that we sin against You daily and that our sin separates us from You. We thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross to save us from the eternal punishment for our sins. We praise You that because Jesus is risen from the dead, we will also live eternally with You in heaven. Open our eyes, Lord, that we might see the needs of Your people throughout the world. Open our ears, Lord, to hear the cries of those who need our encouragement and support. Open our mouths, Lord, as we tell others of Your Son's saving work on the cross. Open our hearts, Lord, as we show Your love and compassion for all. Help us be Your servants in our homes, communities and into the world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
