Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God (Romans 7:4).

By now, the growing season is really starting to take off and providing us with some bright and fresh fruits and vegetables. It is such a treat to partake of the bounty that our Lord provides for us each day. In this season after Pentecost, we are also rejoicing in the growing season of Christ’s Church. As we hear Christ speak to us, as we receive His gifts of grace, the Church grows in faith and love. And as we grow, we are also keenly aware that the harvest is right around the corner, and so our desire is to spread the message of God’s grace in Christ to the world so that they may be included in that harvest. Through Gifts of Love, you will be able to help the work of Christ carry on through the ages and through all seasons of growth so that when Christ returns, there will be a bountiful harvest. Such is some of the fruit that our Lord gives us to bear, all of it pointing to Him and His unending grace and life in Christ.
