September to Remember 2023 — A day of giving for Lutheran Women in Mission
“September to Remember” is an extraordinary day for Lutheran Women in Mission, and it only comes around once a year!
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, you are invited to donate to the LWML Mission Goal in honor of someone who has made a difference in your life. As you peruse the list of mission grants funded through the LWML Mission Goal, you will discover a series of organizations whose objectives are clear — in their unique ways, each one honoring God by serving others. We pray that the Lord will bless those in need through these mission grants, with not only physical and emotional blessings, but with His saving grace.
Further, we have been blessed with a $10,000 matching gift, which means you will have the opportunity to double the impact of your giving!
Who would you like to honor by donating in their name? As you reflect on this, please keep an eye on our social media pages! Throughout the months of August and September, we'll be featuring personal stories of the people our Board of Directors have chosen to honor with their giving.
Thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity to give generously to others as He so generously gives to us.
Give on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, and DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!
Thanks to a generous family, September to Remember donations will be matched, up to a total of $10,000 in matching funds!

Who We Are
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is an official auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 80 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
What Are Mission Grants?
The LWML Mission Goal funds our mission grants. New LWML Mission Grants are selected every two years and freely given offerings are dedicated to these mission grants for the purpose of reaching out to others with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
A Mission Grant Prayer
Dear Lord, we are blessed to be called Your children. Thank You for supplying our every need. Thank You for sending Your Son to be our Savior. Help us to share Your truth and Your love with our friends and neighbors. Help us to be blessings to others. May our mite offerings be used to bring Christ to the nations and to help those in need, especially those in need of Your saving grace. To You be the glory! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
