Opening Worship for the 32nd Biennial Convention of the LWML was held Thursday, June 21. Over 5,500 voices joined in the processional hymn, Built On the Rock reflecting the convention theme, Rest On Christ the King.
Proclaimer, Rev. Dr. Dean Nadasdy, reminded worshipers of their "safe place" in Christ but challenged the women to be "dangerous" in their service.
The communion service was hosted by Faith Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls with Rev. Scott Sailer leading the worship.
