Praise through Service — A Reflection of Jesus’ Love in Action

Faith Lutheran Church in Collierville hosted the Tennessee West Zone Fall Rally. After our business meeting and opening devotion, we focused on our service projects. Using Thrivent action grants, we bought and collected materials for four service projects. We tied fleece blankets for Lutheran world relief. The in gathering was school supplies. We collected enough supplies to pack 150 backpacks for the Care van. We created soup in a jar, with ingredients to make homemade soup. These jars were sent home with each congregation to be given to shut-ins, new moms or other homebound people.
