WHO IS OUR NEIGHBOR?

This is the time of year when many of us are making plans. What will we do this summer? Will we travel? How much time will we spend planning relaxation and fun?

Do we take the same amount of time to plan how we will reach out to our neighbors, the people in our community and world that need help? As our

Who is our neighbor?

LWML societies make plans for the next year, let’s remember to include ways to share in a personal way the love of Jesus and the message of salvation with those who need to hear it.

This month’s free download is a litany to be used for your planning meeting, or for your personal use as you consider ways to reach your neighbors. The 2011-2013 Meeting and Event Planner from LWML is now available from the LWML store. In it you’ll find two years of meeting themes, devotions, Bible studies, service suggestions and more to help you plan interesting and meaningful LWML meetings.

Wanted by the LWML

Writers to Share Their Talents

Reward Paid In Heaven!

Writers WantedDo you like to write? Have you written a devotion, sketch or short Bible study for your local or zone LWML which received rave reviews from those in attendance? Have you considered sending it to the LWML for possible publication?

Presently, we are seeking Bible studies (twenty to thirty minutes long), devotions and sketches addressing issues that will present biblical views on today’s issues for the ‘many faces of LWML’, as well as icebreakers, games, and mixers to be used for meetings, retreats, or gatherings.  When items are submitted, they go through an extensive review before being accepted for use by LWML. Prayerfully consider how you might be used by our Lord in this important way. We thank you in advance!

Please send your items to depcl@lwml.org along with your name, address and phone number.
