The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) was founded in 1942. Right from the beginning, missions have been the focus of LWML. Many women and men have supported this mission effort by placing funds in their Mite Box (based on the biblical story of the Widow's Mite). Over the past 83 years, God has blessed these donations to bring His saving message to multitudes. Throughout our history, over 100 million dollars have been gathered to spread the Gospel message. Today, as Lutheran Women in Mission, we honor that history as we continue to support the spread of the Gospel around the world through our mite offerings.

Now there is an opportunity to support mission grants through the Lutheran Women in Mission TEE UP 4 MITES Eighth Biennial Golf Charity Outing to be held prior to the 41st Biennial Convention on June 26–29, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska. Bent Tree Golf Club, a picturesque Championship Course in Council Bluffs, Iowa, will be the setting for a morning four-person, men and women scramble event. All the net proceeds will be given in a giant Mite Box during the Lutheran Women in Mission Convention.

Join us for a fun morning of golf and fellowship in support of missions. Past Lutheran Women in Mission Presidents, Linda Reiser, Gloria Edwards, and Patti Ross, all three avid golfers, will be the first to tee off.
