Devotion on Relationship with God, Christian Living, Personal Spirituality, Luke 6:41-42. 1 page.

โ€œWhy do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, โ€˜Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,โ€™ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eyeโ€ (Luke 6:41-42).

Most of us need to have the Cadillacs of life removed from our eyes because they obscure that on which we should be focusing. It is easy to want all the fancy cars, gadgets, games, and distractions that advertisers insist we need to be cool, fit in, or just be up-to-date with everyone else.
