Eden Keefe — Newly Appointed LWML Vice President of Gospel Outreach

Eden Keefe, Overland Park, Kansas, has been approved by the LWML Board of Directors (BOD) and will serve as Vice President of Gospel Outreach until the 2021 LWML convention in Lexington, Kentucky. She is filling out the term of Angelina Jauregui who has regretfully resigned due to family and health concerns.

Eden has served on the national level as LWML Vice President of Christian Life from 2013-2017, as Leader Development Committee Chairman, and as a member of the Christian Resources Editors and HOPE Committees. She recently worked on the Official Publications Staff as Christian Living Editor, has also served on the group, zone, and district level in the Kansas district and as the LWML Carolinas District Recording Secretary.

“Eden will bring experience and stability to the Gospel Outreach Department. We welcome her and thank God for her willingness to serve,” President Debbie Larson said.

Eden is married to Brad. They celebrated their 35th anniversary last November and have two grown children: a married daughter and a son, and one adorable grandson.

The LWML Investment Committee, chaired by LWML Treasurer, Karla Koehler, along with committee members Vice President of Organizational Resources Marie Chow, Wayne Price, Sandy Thompson, Mary Kay Mages, Junior Pastoral Counselor Rev. Brian Noack, President Debbie Larson, and Business Manager Vanessa Johnson, recently met at the LWML Office in St. Louis, Missouri. They reviewed investment activity, reviewed and updated policies, and discussed plans to begin a process to seek and compare investment consulting services. They hope to continue this Request for Proposal (RFP) every five years. The LWML has been richly blessed with investment accounts that have been used to offset convention registration fees, assist with training, and ensure the continuation of our Gifts of Love program.
