NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SELECTED

Deaconess Kimberly Trombley

The LWML Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Deaconess Kimberly Trombley as the next executive director.

Deaconess Trombley has extensive leadership experience both within and outside of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), serving as vice-president of Religious Life and Church Relations for Bethesda Lutheran Communities; as executive director at The Shepherd’s Hand Community Outreach Center; and most recently as foundation executive director at Adams Health Network. She is a graduate of Ball State University and has a Master of Arts from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, along with a Master of Organizational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.

Deaconess Trombley is familiar with LWML’s mission and her servant heart and commitment to that mission stood as exceptional traits during the interview process.

She shared, “My heart is full of gratitude for the opportunity to serve alongside the faithful women of the LWML.”

Her start date is January 5, 2026. She is married to the Rev. Michael Trombley, and they have two adult children, and three school-aged children. Information on her installation will be communicated as plans are finalized.
