This Easter season is one of my favorites. Everything is new, the plants are starting to bud,
and it’s getting warmer. Why do we take this season of renewal for granted? The prophet
Jeremiah reminds us in Lamentations, The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his
mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness
(Lamentations 3:22–23). So then we should be celebrating all the time! Our God is the God of
rebirth and second chances. This is what He does!
