For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken (Psalm 62:1–2).

I pick up rocks almost every place we travel as visual reminders of an exceptional event. As I look at my collection of rocks, they continually remind me of the many Psalms that speak of God as our Rock and Fortress.
