LWML Sunday 2015

The first Sunday in October is traditionally set aside for the observation of LWML Sunday, but it may be celebrated at any time. The materials, available for download below, have been designed to help with your congregation’s worship and celebration of LWML Sunday 2015.

The LWML thanks God for LWML Counselors Rev. John Heckmann and Rev. Dr. Robert Roegner, authors of this year’s materials. Rev. Heckmann, and his wife Debra live in Gatesville, Texas, where he is pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Dr. Robert Roegner and his wife Kristi live in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where he is pastor of Peace Lutheran Church, O’Fallon, Missouri. Based on Matthew 6:26, 32b, 33, the theme chosen for the 2015 LWML Sunday celebration is “Seek First the Kingdom of God.”

LWML HAS LISTENED TO YOUR REQUESTS.  A full worship service will not be offered this year, as many pastors prefer to tailor their services to their congregation’s needs, but the sermon, litany, and dedication may be inserted in any worship service wherever needed.
