Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:17–18a).

Sometimes at night I can’t sleep because the day will not leave my brain and then I remember — take it to the Lord in prayer. He is always there and answers every prayer. Sometimes not the answer I want, but what is best for me. In hindsight I know he has answered my prayers with the best answer of which, in my worldly ways, I would not ever have thought. The saying at our house is, “It was a God thing.”

He answers our little prayers and our big prayers. I have seen God’s hand at work in my life of prayer and in my daily life. He answers above and beyond anything I could have asked, and He always answers.

Lastly and most importantly, remember to thank God for those answered prayers and your daily blessings.
