President Patti Ross Interviewed on KFUO

nullPresident Patti Ross visited with Andy Bates, host of the KFUO morning program "His Time" on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.

President Ross shared information on the LWML, the 75th anniversary celebration at the 2017 LWML Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah Albuquerque, New Mexico (updated March 2016), and how Christ's love reaches around the world through LWML Mission Grants.

75th Anniversary Committee Appointed

In 2017, LWML will celebrate 75 years of serving the Lord with gladness. President Patti Ross intends this to be such a unique observance, that a special committee was appointed and will meet in St. Louis in November to create and outline plans for the year.

The committee members are:
Edie Norris, chairman; past LWML Presidents Betty Duda, Ida Mall, Gloria Edwards, Virginia Von Seggern, Linda Reiser, Janice Wendorf, Kay Kreklau; Kristy Carter; Amy Gill; Carolyn Blum; Caroline Honeycutt, Archivist-Historian; Rev. Robert Mundahl, Pastoral Counselor; and LWML President Patti Ross.

Debbie Curry lives in Oakwood, Texas, with her husband, Jimmie Curry. A retired special education teacher, she has been active in the LWML Texas District for many years and served as Vice President of Gospel Outreach (Texas) from 2010-14. She is the mother of two grown children, Jimi and Elizabeth, and has two grandchildren.

LWML thanks her for writing and sharing this study with all Lutheran Women in Mission.
