Christian Resource Editors Committee

CRE Committee — Ruth Badciong, Terri Bentley, Chair and Linda Koeller

The LWML Christian Resource Editors (CRE) Committee works with authors to provide top-quality, doctrinally sound resources to enable women (and men) to be nurtured in their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Each biennium, this committee creates a collection of resources that includes nearly 50 new Bible studies, and devotions as well as fun icebreakers and sketches. Bible Studies and devotions from previous packets are also available on the LWML webpage as free downloads. Below are some examples:

  • Living with Pain by Roxanne Smith
  • Dilemmas and Decisions by Terri Bentley
  • Go Ahead, Jump by Heather Ketron
  • Parenting with the Lord's Help by Cheryl Mattil

The CRE Committee is currently seeking new Bible studies and devotions in the following categories:

  • Caregiving (both accepting and giving)
  • Relationship with God
  • Relationship with Others
  • Joy in the Journey
  • Dealing with Down Days
  • Family Times
  • Comfort and Hope
  • Christian Living.

If you have a heart for a particular topic and would like to create a Bible study or devotion on any of these subjects, contact LWML Vice President of Christian Life, Susan Brunkow here for details.

Overflowing Abundance Bible Study Continues

Donna Snow continues to unite women and men in Bible study on Facebook Live Tuesday evenings through June 2, 2020, at 8 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Donna is leading listeners through her Overflowing Abundance Bible study based on Jesus feeding the five thousand found in Matthew 14:13-21.

One letter, from Debra Albers of the Southern Illinois District, stated, “LWML you have done it again…. How special you have made me feel! Thank you so very much for sharing Donna’s Bible Study Overflowing Abundance with us all for FREE! I am super excited to be in the front row of her “one on one” personal Bible study each week. I can watch when I have time to sit and listen and it is so timely and interesting to learn from her. I LOVE IT! Thanks and many blessings.

LWML President Debbie Larson, Vice President of Christian Life Susan Brunkow, and our Pastoral Counselors, Rev. Mitchel Schuessler and Rev. Brian Noack, will be online answering questions and taking prayer requests in the comments. The study guide is available as a free download here.
