Stop, Look, Listen

When Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, he took Peter, James, and John with him. While Jesus was praying, the three disciples saw his face begin to shine brightly, his clothes turn dazzling white, and Moses and Elijah talking with him.

Then Peter jumped in, ready with an action plan. He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him” (Matthew 17:5).

How about you? Are you ever so busy with your own activities and plans that you miss hearing Jesus’ voice?

null As you head into February and are engaged making plans or registering for LWML District Conventions, encourage each other to stop and listen for God’s words, guiding focus back to Him. He will equip you for joyful service.
