Devotion on Relationships with others, Witnessing, Psalm 40:1–3. 2 pages.

I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD (Psalm 40:1–3).

We are facing some tough times that will require each Christian to use her/his God-given gifts to deal with “slime.” God gives us the opportunity to exercise our faith when we come face-to-face with tragedies such as pandemics, droughts, hurricanes, terrorism, wars, immigration issues, serious illnesses, etc. We are called to reach out to the hurting.
