Devotion on Relationship with God, Personal Spirituality, Psalm 63:6. 1 page.
On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night (Psalm 63:6).
Have you ever heard a voice call your name in the middle of the night, waking you? You sit up quickly and ask, “who’s calling me?’ There is no answer. So, you lie back down, but you’re wide awake now. It’s so very quiet and dark, like being in a closet. Many thoughts crowd into your mind then; the past day’s events, plans for the coming day, family members, friends, etc … And you can’t get back to sleep. But don’t despair; use it as a time for prayer.

Devotion on Relationship with God, God’s Love, Witnessing, Acts 10:34. 2 pages.
how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear Him and do what is right (Acts 10:34).
How reassuring to hear of God’s love to every person. An old children’s song reminds us that all people are “precious in His sight.” But are they precious in our sight?

Devotion on Christian Living, Race of Faith, Hebrews 12:1-2. 2 pages.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2).
Paul likened the life of a Christian to a runner. Like the Olympic runner, the life of a follower of Christ requires several things.

Devotion on Christmas, Luke 2:1-20. 2 pages.
We love Christmas. Many of us can recite Luke’s Christmas story from memory. We say “Merry Christmas,” (not Happy Holidays) to everyone we meet. We know why we busy ourselves with many activities – caroling, giving of our time and money to charities, practicing with the choir, going out of our way to make and share special foods, buying well- thought out gifts for loved ones. And the most important thing we do is to remember God’s fantastic Gift to us.
