Devotion on Comfort, Dealing with Down Days, Prayer, Philippians 4:4–7. 1 page.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:4–7).
Rejoicing at all times is easier said than done. We all have our fair share of ups and downs. There are times when it is very easy to rejoice and then there are times when rejoicing is the last thing we want to do.

Devotion on Caregiving, Mark 8:25. 2 pages.
Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly (Mark 8:25).
Like the healed man who thought he saw walking trees, our vision can sometimes be distorted until we see through the eyes of Jesus.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28–30).
“Multitasking” – this word seeks to capture the frenetic activity that envelopes the lives of so many women. … At the center of such a busy life, a deep fatigue and profound weariness can empty our souls. … Where can our souls be refreshed?

Devotion on Witnessing, Galatians 6:9. 1 page.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Reflecting on the beauty of the harvest season, there is also the reminder that just as the days are growing shorter, so too is the time before the Lord of the harvest will return to gather to Him all of His believers.

Devotion on “Dealing With Down Days” and Trust. Colossians 3:1-4. 2 pages.
If then you have been raised with Christ, see the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is in your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:1–4).
The Lord’s plans are always better than our plans. He knows best because He knows us best!
